Steve teaches hand hewn bowl making.  During a 3 day workshop you will make a traditional dough bowl, or a round bowl.  Steve will provide as much or as little help as you need to complete the bowl. You will leave with a finished bowl, all you need to do before you use it, is to finish curing it,which takes about 4 weeks, and Steve will tell you how to do that.   He provides the wood and a hand adz to use while you are at the workshop.  Hand adz orders may be made if you wish to continue making bowls.  Please bring heavy duty work gloves and perhaps some ibbies.  We'll provide the ice pack, if needed.  It does take a certain amount of upper body strength and your arm will get tired with the chopping motion.  However, we have never had anyone say "I wish I hadn't done this".  Everyone is most proud of their bowl.  Their is a 200$ deposit once you sign up for your date.  Please call Steve 304-274-1823 for further details.
